Calista was turned into the Saraland Animal Shelter in a trap, along with her 3 kittens. There were no empty cages available, the shelter was full, so her time was up the same day that she was surrendered. The shelter director contacted Sav e a Stray about the family's plight, so we sprung into action! Our partners, The Guardian at Bit&Spur Animal hospital, agreed to take the kittens and a foster agreed to take Calista! Calista is a beautiful long haired female, very gentle and affectionate, despite her circumstances! She is looking for her forever home
