AVIE! This sweetie was found running down Airport Boulevard with her friend Cessna and a Good Samaritan stopped to get her so she would not get run over. Despite found dog signs and newspaper ads, nobody has called to claim her. She is a 18lb female beagle mix at around 2 years old. She is heartworm negative, vaccinated and spayed. Avie still has some puppy energy but is a total sweetheart. She is also great with other dogs and cats. Avie might not do well in an apartment type atmosphere due to her beagle baying (although she doesn't do it often). Adoption applications accepted at www.saveastray.org
