DRAKE! This is a sad story but it ended a lot better than it could have! And we have no doubt it will have an even BETTER ending as soon as this adorable boy finds his forever home. Drake is an 8-year-old male Maltese. The only owner he 'd ever know his whole life was going to put him to sleep! This beautiful dog came with fancy food bowls, leashes, collars, sweaters, and a silk pillow. But the owner who lavished all these inconsequential items on him couldn't be bothered to neuter him or have his teeth cleaned. After eight years of neglect, poor Drake had to have seven teeth pulled! He is now neutered, and after his dental he is doing very well in his foster home. He gets along well with other dogs. Drake is definitely a lap dog, an adorable little guy with lots of love to give. We are so sorry that all that love was wasted for the past eight years. But Drake has lots of good years left and we want more than anything to find the perfect home, the family who will appreciate him like he should have been appreciated for the first half of his life.
