Iris was trapped and taken to City Shelter where it was discovered she was favoring one leg.  X-rays showed that the tip of her elbow was broken and had to be pinned.  The X-ray also showed that sweet Irish had a bullet lodged in the middle of her chest!  Now Iris is starting to use her leg that had to be pinned and the bullet is not causing her any problems. She only weighs 12 pounds.  She is a playful little gal in need of a home. If you are interested in adopting Iris please complete an application at saveastray.org.
