Detroit tried his paw at tinkering with cars.  He was not very good at it and is now a retired mechanic with only three legs.  Detroit is recovered and is ready for a home in which to enjoy his retirement lounging and playing.  He gets around just fine but isn't fast enough to be in a home with dogs.
