Zeus is a neutered male manx (no tail) who has quite a story. First, he's famous. But, let's start at the beginning. A lady crying her eyes out dropped him off at a shelter. Zeus sat on death row, but one day, he just reached out from his cage and grabbed a lady. She adopted Zeus and his new home was a hardware store where they needed a rodent manager. He was very good at the job and loved it. He had fun, too. He sat right on the check out counter, very  still, and people would ask, "Is that a real cat?" He loved it and the staff and customers loved him. He was adored, overfed and petted all day long. One staff member shared a Yoohoo with Zeus every morning. He was even pictured in a newspaper article. His photo was included in all the store's newspaper ads. Life was good. But, after a number of years, he was getting old and fame got old, too. It was decided he deserved to retire to a quiet home to be loved and adored in a setting without fans swarming over him all day. He's waiting for that home now. Give Zeus a loving quiet home. 

Zeus is 9 or 10 years old, we think, and has many good years ahead. He does have a need for daily medication, kind of a laxative, which is common for all kinds of old animals. And, he's been fed special food to help move things along. He has allergies to something, but who knows what, three different vets couldn't figure it out out so perhaps it was some of the chemicals sold at the hardware store. He did like to roll around in anything that spilled. When his allergies act up he itches and scratches his fur out in spots. It's completely manageable.
