Bobby is a 3 yr old, neutered male, soft white fur, pink skin. He's laid back, low maintenance. He's smart & good at training humans. He comes when called, knocks on the door when he wants it opened & tells you when and where to pet him. Turn on a laser light and watch him go, he'll jump 4 feet up the wall to chase it. When you go to bed he walks up on your chest and plops down. He's a big boy so it's kinda hard to breathe when he does it. It's usually just for a test sit and then he settles down alongside you or at your feet. He doesn't seem to care when a dog enters the room and he's ok with other cats. Here's how he trains you. Pet him incorrectly or too long, and you get a love bite. He does not like belly rubs and will quickly let you know that part of his body is off limits. I wouldn't recommend him for a home with small children because Bobby will train them on his limits with a nip. He needs a scratching post or he'll scratch the rug. Bobby is in a foster home and is ready to go to a forever home. Please complete an application at www.saveastray.org to make arrangements to meet our pets. Adoption fee of $90 includes spay/neuter, test for FIV & Feline Leukemia, vaccinations (depending on age, may include FVRCPC, rabies & leukemia vaccines), deworming, flea treatment, ear exam, microchip. Save a Stray needs volunteers to foster an orphan pet. Fosters give an animal a temporary home, a few day or a few weeks, whatever works for you. Save a Stray takes care of vet bills, the foster provides food, litter and love. When you foster, you save a life. We cannot help an orphan animal unless we have a foster home that will provide temporary shelter. Save a Stray is totally dependent on your tax deductible donations to care for orphan pets. Please donate at saveastray.org.
