COURTESY LISTING: SNOOPY! Contact: 251-591-7021. Email is taragayle@hotmail.com. Snoopy has a sad story to tell. After the way he was treated, this awesome dog really deserves a fantastic home. Maybe it could be yours? From Snoopy's foster mom: Snoopy and a buddy were left in a rental house for several months with only minimal visits (if any) from their owner. They were locked up in the laundry room most of the day and night. As we were managing the rental, we had no idea that the renter even had pets at the house. Once we found out about them, we tried calling the rental tenant but couldn't reach them. Finally we did and he confessed to only renting the house for his wife's animals and that he didn't even like them. After finally being given the go ahead to find them homes, I took Snoopy to the vet. The vet says he is approximately 6 years old and he weighs about 60 pounds. He is heartworm negative, UTD on his shots and has been neutered since. He does well in the house (no accidents and does not chew on anything). He sleeps in the bed and walks politely on leash. Snoopy does not try to chase after cats or other dogs. He would do best in a home without very small children (simply because of his size). May not do well with seniors either as he tends to lick hard when playing and gets really excited. Snoopy lives with a cat and other than occasional growling when the kitty invades his personal space, all is well. He has some minor skin issues that the vet believes are common flea allergies. Completely vetted and neutered. Rehoming fee: $100. You can contact the foster mom (info above) directly, or complete a Save a Stray online adoption application at www.saveastray.org.
