Meet...BO! Bo, aka "Bo-"-hemoth, is a neutered Great Dane/Setter mix. He is approximately 4 years old, and weighs 86 pounds! Bo was found on the side of the road by a volunteer; after 2 weeks his original owner was found, but didn't want Bo ... back. Bo was infested with hookworms and whipworms, and did test positive for heartworms. Bo has been dewormed for the hook and whipworms and is currently on the slow-kill method of heartworm treatment. Bo has been neutered and fully vaccinated. Bo gets along with every human he meets (children, too), and gets along with other dogs. We are unsure about cats (the foster doesn't have any cats), but the foster did say that Bo has seen the "neighborhood cat" and was completely uninterested. Bo walks well on a leash, can sit and shake, and knows how to use a dog-door. Bo is house-trained, and he LOVES the AC! With his previous owner, Bo was strictly an outside dog, but he has adjusted to living inside very quickly and very well. Bo is pretty laid back, but does love human affection and likes to play with other dogs.
